187 pages. Illustrated with drawings and photographs, blue cloth with spine lettering in silver. With a foreword by Rex Beach. Morrison was known in America as "the Wizard of Golf Instructors" and particularly regarding the golf swing. "He has made a life-long study of the golfing swing, practically, anatomically, photographically and in every other conceivable way." (Darwin in the UK introduction) The most widely printed instructional until Ben Hogan's Five Lessons. Interesting to note that after twenty printings Morrison has made no alterations of any kind to this book. INSCRIBED AND AUTOGRAPHED IN FULL BY MORRISON ON FRONT PASTEDOWN: "To_______, For better scores and enjoyment ta (sic) golf. Sincerely, Alex J. Morrison 1-7-70" Covers in fair condition, front cover creased vertically, spine with silver spine lettering complete, only light wear to the cloth at the spine ends. No former owner name or bookplate, old price upper ffep. A surprisingly clean and tight copy, no stains, foxing, corner folds, creases, tears, etc. Covers protected in mylar. NOTE: I have a very large quantity of original material from Alex Morrison's estate: photographs, original writings, unpublished manuscripts, and boxes of clippings he retained throughout his career.
