Publisher's original beige cloth with black spine lettering and an anchor decorative device on front panel, octavo, pp. 87. Included as a Preface is the poignant Boston Herald story of the loss at sea of Ms. Ames's father and two brothers in 1935. She has inscribed this copy on the free front endpaper to dear friends and previous owners at Christmas in the year of publication. Condition is Very Good with light discoloration in the gutter of the book's front panel. Fragile original glassine dust jacket FAIR-only, as would be expected, with tears randomly around perimeter.
