The author grew up near Elmont, Texas; but in 1957 at age 17, he and his family moved north to a bush-farm near Worsley Alberta. These 151 pages describe his years of raising a family, cutting logs, and operating heavy equipment for seismic exploration companies. He and his wife Rose have a go at cattle ranching and end up owning a tourist resort on Tatogga Lake - north of Prince George, British Columbia. TEXT assistesd by b/w (family) photographs.
