Add to basketInscribed by Hope Sandrow and with a duplicate postcard bearing a long, personal note from her. An envelope and flap made of single-sided corrugated cardboard (about 17 x 20 cm) contains 16 (i.e., 17) color postcards 15.2 x 10 cm (oversquare) + 13 grayish-tan sheets of text the same size printed both sides. The Anchorage "consists of huge cathedral-like spaces located inside the granite and brick base of the Brooklyn Bridge." Material Matters is one of nine separate shows in the 1995 exhibition. The eight artists are Terry Adkins, Jane Dickson, Robin Kahn, Susan Leopold, Christian Marclay, Matthew McCaslin, Sara Pasti & Neighbors, Hope Sandrow (the organizer), Glen Seator, and John Yau. Cardboard boxes were the primary material for all. The title is stamped on the flap in a condensed, extra-large, san-serif typeface. Copies located only at the Brooklyn Museum, the Met, and MoMA. Very fine. Another copy available at $150 is signed by Hope Sandrow, September 14, 1995. **Free domestic shipping with direct order.
