Inscribed and signed by Jeffrey Cardenas to Russell Chatham on the half-title page page. Text illustrations by A. D. Tinkham. From Mr. Cardenas's Introduction: "There are others who have spent lifetimes in and around the Marquesas. There are fishing guides who are experts in these waters. I'm not an expert; I'm only an observer." That's partially true, but Mr. Cardenas is far more than an "observer." He's a highly skilled writer and fly fisherman who eloquently described his time under the delicious spell of living and fly fishing in the Marquesas. The book is bound in burgundy cloth with gilt titles. Clear plastic dust jacket. Gray cloth slip case with a colored titling label on the side panel. A beautiful book.
