This scarce second India edition was published in 1945, a full year before it was published worldwide. Like the First edition, published in 1944, the printing was again limited to a small number of copies due to the shortage of printing paper caused by the Second World War. The book contains an extra chapter titled JUST TIGERS and four additional photographs featuring Corbett s attempts to film wild tigers near his home in Kaladhungi overlooking the majestic Himalayas. Printed and bound in India on boards covered in light orange cloth and comes with a price clipped dust jacket.
