Silverstein s second collection of poetry illustrated by himself as well. This copy is signed and Uncle Shelby has doodled a little shoe hanging off the last letter of his name. Additionally, Silverstein has drawn original sketches in his own hand all over the verso and recto of the copyright page, including an inscription, To Shanna which he has made into a beautiful flowerpot. A very rare thing to have Silverstein decorate a book with such effort and uniqueness!! The book, a later printing, in about NF with sharp corners and taut binding. Clean text block.
