("Billy Rose") 2 1/2 pages, April 28, 1949, on Ziegfeld Theatre 1347 Sixth Avenue, New York 19, N. Y. Circle 5-5200 letterhead to agent H. N. Swanson in Hollywood. 11" x 8 1/2". Very good (staple holes on upper left side). A long single spaced letter relating to his experiences in dealing with Dore Schary and motion picture contracts. Paper watermarked Plover Bond. Compare to Ebay #300 257 339 156 priced at $1,299.00 Rose (1899-1966) was an American showman, lyricist and impresario. He is credited with several famous songs, i.e. "It's Only a Paper Moon;" "Me and My Shadow". Seller Inventory # 611362
