Leather bound Buffalo Edition limited to 350 copies numbered ( this is 299/350) and Signed by the Author. John Seerey Lester (1945-2020) was a world renowned wildlife artist and author of several Wildlife Art books with spectacular paintings. This sequel to his immensely popular Legends of the Hunt features over 120 paintings and covers some sixty tales of adventure and explorations of some of the great hunters like Teddy Roosevelt, Jim Corbett ( hunting a man eating Leopard and the famous Temple Tiger), Carl Akeley s African adventures and much more. This scarce collectible edition is signed twice on the title page by the author, once with the numbered 299/350, then another full signature with a.small caricature sketch of himself under his signature. In addition to this, there is a signed numbered giclee buffalo painting, hand written in the Scrub and numbered 299/350 and signed by the artist, enclosed in a clear plastic envelope is laid in. A scarce collectors item with the author/ artist leaving multiple signatures. The painting and the book are numbered 299/350, A nice clean tight volume with a light binder s mark on the back cover.
