This is a comprehensive survey of Trollope's use of grammar and language in his fiction. This copy is very good in gray cloth with gilt titles on the spine. No marks or damage at all. The clipped DJ is also excellent. Eric Partridge ( 1894 - 1979) was a New Zealand-British lexicographer of the English language, particularly of its slang. Among his many books, the best known is A Dictionary of Slang and Unconventional English. AB23.
