un Manuscrit, reliure demi-velin janséniste in-folio, dos 5 nerfs - titre manuscrit à l'encre brune façon Janséniste au dos à l'encre brune, les 3 premières pages ainsi que les deux dernières ont été habilement restaurées en marge sur un centimètre de large lors d'une restauration ancienne, texte manuscrit à l'encre brune orné de trés nombreuses lettrines calligraphiées réhaussées en couleurs sur toute les pages ainsi que des calligraphies en ornementation du texte, en bandeaux et culs-de-lampes réhaussées en couleurs (Thèmes : oiseaux divers, portraits divers, papillons divers, fleurs diverses, lapins divers etc.), orné d'un dessin à l'encre brune réhaussé en couleurs sur la moitié de la page de titre représentant "la manière de tenir la plume" et d'un dessin à l'encre brune réhaussé en couleurs représentant un portrait en pied d'un NÉGOCIANT dans son intérieur devant une Sphère Armilliaire, dessin prenant toute la dernière page , quelques légères piqûres, Table des Matières et sur les dernières pages : Rêgles d'Arithmétique, 545 pages avec une erreur de pagination (mais complet), Fait à Lourmarin, le huitième octobre 1772, LIVRE DU MAÎTRE [MANUSCRIT ET CALLIGRAPHIÉ EN COULEURS], Réalisé par MELCHIOR BRIEUGNE, Maitre de Pension à Lourmarin (Vaucluse) en 1771, mais Réutilisé bien plus tard par un de ses neveux : PIERRE-FRANCOIS BRIEUGNE ( de 1811 à 1840) dans sa Pension de la place Brancas à NANTES . "MISE EN PRATIQUE SELON L'USAGE DES FINANCIERS, BANQUIERS ET MARCHANDS ; contenant une ample et familière instruction de ses principes, tant en Nombres Entiers qu'en Fractions, et ensemble un traité d'arpentage." - EN FAIT , LE LIVRE APPRENAIT A LIRE - ÉCRIRE ET COMPTER A UN TRÉS BON NIVEAU CE QUI POUR L'ÉPOQUE ÉTAIT ESSENTIEL . Dans "Le Cahier Des Salorges" N° 11, page 22-23 dans un article de 9 pages Signé Madame CHICHE-AUVIGNE traitant de "L'Hygiène a bord des navires Négriers au XVIIIème siècle", elle donne une histoire de quelques Chirurgiens Négriers dont Pierre François BRIEUGNE : ".Brieugne aussi était rempli de civisme. Ce Nantais mena une vie romanesque, pleine d'imprévus et de contrastes. En 1793, au retour d'un voyage de traite, où il navigait comme chirurgien sur un navire Négrier, il s'engagea avec enthousiasme parmi les volontaires Nantais pour la défense de la patrie. il avait alors 21 ans, Il nous a laissé une description pleine d'esprit de la route semée de fleurs, de festins et de bals, qu'ils parcoururent à pied vers Carcassonne, où ils devaient se mesurer aux espagnols. Fait prisonnier, il resta 25 mois en captivité en Espagne. Ce ne fut pas suffisant pour calmer ses ardeurs guerrières, et, à peine rentré à Nantes, il repartait sur un Navire Corsaire, faire la chasse à l'Anglais. De nouveau prisonnier, il passa un an sur un ponton. Rentré en France, il abandonna définitivement les Armes et la Médecine pour se consacrer à l'Enseignement. Curieuse destinée pour un ex-Chirurgien de Négrier. il fonda à Nantes une pension : la "PENSION BRIEUGNE" place Brancas (à l'angle de la Motte aux Cochons et de la petite rue Brancas) puis une école populaire dite "ECOLE INDUSTRIELLE" qui, bientôt, jouit d'un grand renom, le Prince d'Orléans lui attribua une médaille d'or ; il compta même d'illustres élèves : Lacaussade et, surtout, LECONTE DE LISLE.!!!.". Ce manuscrit se trouvait dans une famille Nantaise depuis lors . (voir aussi l'article de M. Creveuil, page 11 à 30 du tome N°80 année 1940 du Bulletin de la Société Archéologique et Historique de Nantes et de la Loire-Inférieure ou il est conté la vie de PIERRE-FRANCOIS BRIEUGNE Négrier, Soldat, Corsaire et enfin Maître de Pension à Nantes) . PIECE NANTAISE UNIQUE!!!! d'un trés grand intérêt avec des dessins et une calligraphie EXCEPTIONNELLE EN COULEURS . en bon état malgré les légers défauts signalés (very good condition in spite of the lights defects indicated).

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us, Librairie Guimard, 23 bis rue Jean-Jaurès, 44000, nantes, France, +33 (0) 2 40 08 21 20, of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. You can also electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us or Librairie Guimard, 23 bis rue Jean-Jaurès, 44000, nantes, France, +33 (0) 2 40 08 21 20, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
