St. James Dukes Place Poor Rate from Lady Day 1825 to Midsummer 1825. A rate or assessment made by us the undersigned Church Wardens, Overseers of the Poor, and Parishioners, of the Parish of St James Dukes Place in the City of London upon the several inhabitants and occupiers of homes, lands, tenements, hereditiments, and other premises within the said parish for and towards the necessary relief of the poor of the said parish and other the purposes mentioned in the several acts of Parliament relating to the poor, at and after the rate of nine-pence in the pound amounting in the whole to the sum of one hundred and eleven pounds nineteen shillings.
