"I paint to make use of the time -- so that I am not sad it's passing!" Wall- and Post-Wall Berlin painter, sculptor and Modern dancer Irene Müller died recently in early 2024. In restrained colors, Müller paints melancholic, dreamy landscapes populated with magical realist figures. Dance and elastic naked bodies are consistent subjects. A 1977 monograph with all color illustrations of paintings and biographical texts about Müller, signed by the artist. Condition: Very Good. Some creases and tiny minimal scratches on the dust cover. A few spots on page edge. From the collection of late Berlin action artist, gallerist, urban ecology advocate and sculptor Ben Wagin. Wear and tear are result of location in the artist's studio, where he often worked with sand, dirt and gold dust.
