Hardcover, 264 pages. Signed by the author with an inscription to a former owner and date of 2006. The author is an experienced game hunter in Africa, with 18 safaris to his credit, mostly elephant, in the areas of the Selous preserve in Tanzania, the Transvaal of South Africa, and especially the forests of Zimbabwe. The narrative covers cape buffalo, leopard, lion, and especially elephant hunting. Many black and white photographic illustrations. Inside cover is marked 50/421, so likely this was a limited edition, this being copy number 50. Very good condition, but cover is slightly bowed (see images). Scarce. Seller Inventory # 001436
