1st ed. 4to brown cloth with gilt title on leather on spine. vii,288pp. Illus throughout including tipped in photographs. 52 copies printed at the author's Private Press. This is No.2. SGD by author. This is stated to be the author's own copy with additional copperplates, manuscript notes and heraldic shields by the author. I can see nothing which would doubt this. Undoubtedly a well produced book and obviously a labour of love. The author was the vicar of King Sterndale which apparently is a village near Buxton in Derbyshire.
