1st edition (1972) of this Caldecott Medal winner, signed by illustrator Leonard Baskin in red ink on the front end paper. The book itself is in fine condition. The dust jacket has a 3/4" closed tear at front top, a 1/4" closed tear at rear top and a 2" water stain in lower right front corner. The water stain does not affect the book.
