Review
Every bestselling crime story should begin with an irresistible premise, and Mark Beyer's debut novel delivers in spades... Once you get on this literary roller coaster, hang on as the twists and turns come quickly and keep you guessing. -- Dennis D. Wilson "author of The Grand (Water Street Crime, 2016)"
You will not be able to put this book down. [Hired Man] makes you think 'what would I do?' Beyer can tell a story, and he does it with perfect description of scene and character. -- Joe Calderwood "author of Stained Fortune (Water Street Crime, 2016)"
