From the Author
This book was an absolute joy to write! I traveled around the country seeking out and interviewing some of America's top entrepreneurs. I interviewed men and women, blacks and whites, Asians, Hispanics and Native Americans. These people have all created companies that have succeeded beyond their wildest imaginations. The book summarizes the ten keys to entrepreneurial success I heard over and over in my interviews. It also includes the stories of these marvelous business role models. After reading the stories, you'll have a chance to evaluate your own readiness to start a business, using the assessment tool at the end of the book. The results will tell you whether to jump in with both feet or keep your day job. Even if you don't plan on starting a company, the ten keys to entrepreneurial success can benefit organizations of all types. Whether you are an executive, middle manager, educator or politician, entrepreneurship is the leadership model of the future. If you master the ten keys to success, you can make dazzling things happen in any organization!
