A stunning, large folio 23 1/2 x 18 inches. Limited edition, one of 400 copies. Signed and illustrated by Jacob Lawrence with eight full-page silkscreen prints, each requiring between 17 and 21 screens. Bound in midnight blue, Japanese cotton covered boards. Printed with wide margins on a heavy, textured, handmade Italian paper. A tissue guard facing each print. In a clamshell box covered with black linen and lined in suede. With original Monthly Letter laid-in. Both book and box are in fine condition, just very slight rubbing alone top edge of box. A great production.
