Add to basketThis volume is inscribed on the front free end paper by the author to Henry Bosley Woolf, former fellow Louisiana State University Professor and former Editor at G & C Merriam Company. Mr. Woolf's book plate is affixed to the front paste down. The author also signed a poem taken from the Sewanee Review, LXXII, Summer, 1964, page 446, which has been cut out and laid into the book along with a number of other poems by the author which were published in the New York Times, as well as, other articles about the author which are also laid in. A retirement announcement for the author has been affixed to the front free end paper. As a result of the paper from the newspaper clippings there is some browning to the end papers, the pages edges are lightly toned, and the dust wrapper is toned around the edges and is price clipped. There are also some paper clip impressions on the last several pages where the newspaper clipping were, assumed, to have been attached. Several pages are noted to have marginalia and/or underlining. The blue cloth boards show some light edge wear-faded blue cloth dye to whitish. The gilt lettering on the spine is bright. There are 251 pages to this publication.
