Copy number '125' of an edition limited to 200 copies signed by Alan Ayling and Duncan Mackintosh. Printed by John & Rosalind Randle at Whittington Court on Columbian Press no. 1275, made in 1848. The type is 12 pt Caslon and the paper is English Hand Made from St Cuthbert's Mill, Wookey Hole. Bound by Hunter & Foulis Ltd in cloth supplied by Warner and Sons, endpapers specially marbled by The Compton Press, top edge gilt, printed paper label to spine. Quarto, 295 x 200, pp. [viii] 96, with calligraphy by Ch'eng Hs�an and seven illustrations by Fei Ch'eng Wu, including the frontispiece. A book in Near Fine condition, housed in an original Very Good blue paper covered board slipcase. Butcher, 9.
