Synopsis
Captain James Robert Pell of the Merchanter starship Finity's End takes advantage of a truce to return for Fletcher, the orphaned son of a crew member, who has grown up in foster homes and is more interested in working with the hisa, the peaceful nativesof Downbelow, than in going into space with the family he has never known.
