Original etching 10x8cm including margins 11,5x9,5cm, pasted on paper, signed by the author "13 Nov. 1898 ter herinnering R. Dekker" in ink in lower right corner of paper, left "Evening" in ink by the artist. Remmert Dekker (Zaandam 4 juni 1860-Amsterdam 15 April 1911) was a Dutch artist etcher and worked in Haarlem, Velsen and Amsterdam Thieme Becker, Scheen, Waller. Possibly from the Hoedemaker family.
