Item description from seller

A typed note, on letterhead stationery, dated August 21, 1932, and signed by Governor Albert C. Ritchie (of Maryland). The governor states that the state of Maryland has nothing to do with the admissions requirements at Wilson Teachers College, the institution to which the correspondent Mr. Walter G. Slappey's daughter has applied and that he is afraid therefore that he can offer no assistance. Single sheet, lightly creased from folding.
