Light Wear, Paper Labels Complete And Lettering Clear But Paper Looks Aged/Browned, No Fraying To Cloth But Paper-Covered Boards Frayed For Small Area At Tips. Signatures Of S. Bartley Cannell, Early Twentieth Century Dealer In Books, Fine Art Including California Plein Air Artists, And Later, Furniture [As Cannell & Chaffin], With His 100 South Windsor Address, Los Angeles. Too Large For Fixed Rate Priority Mail Envelopes. Per Wikipedia, Pyotr Nikolayevich Krasnov (Russian: Пётр Николаевич Краснов; 1869 – 1947), Also Known As Peter Krasnov, Was A Russian Military Leader, Writer And Later Nazi Collaborator. Krasnov Was Son To Lieutenant-General Nikolay Krasnov And Grandson To General Ivan Krasnov. In April–May 1902 A Series Of Articles Were Published In Russkii Invalid, The Newspaper Of The Imperial Russian Army, Containing P. N. Krasnov's Impressions Of His Trip To Mongolia, China And Japan As The East Asia Correspondent Of Russkii Invalid. In His Article "Fourteen Days In Japan", Krasnov Painted The Imperial Japanese Army In A Negative Light. His Analyzed Was Widely Criticized As Motonic But Was Read And Appreciated By The Czar. Krasnov Served As A Lieutenant General In The Imperial Russian Army During World War I And Later Led Anti-Bolshevik Forces During The Russian Civil War, Where He Served As The Ataman Of The Don Republic. Approximately 25,000 To 40,000 People Were Executed By Krasnov's White Cossacks, Which Lasted Until The Red Army Conquered The Region Following Their Victory At Tsaritsyn. After The Civil War, He Lived In Exile. During World War Ii, Krasnov Collaborated With The Germans Who Mobilized Cossack Forces To Fight Against The Soviet Union In Operation Barbarossa. Following The End Of The War, Krasnov Was Repatriated And Executed By The Soviet Authorities. His Son, Semyon Krasnov, Was A Russian White Army Soldier Who, After The Empire's Defeat In The Russian Civil War, Fled To Yugoslavia And Then To France, Arriving In Nazi Germany In 1942. After The Defeat Of Germany In World War Ii, He Was Extradited Back To The Soviet Union Along With His Father, Pyotr Krasnov. There, Both Men Were Put On Trial And Executed. As A Result Of This, Young Miguel Krasnov And His Mother, Dina Marchenko, Fled To Chile. His Grnadson Miguel Krassnoff Martchenko (Born Mikhail Semyonovich Krasnov, Russian: Михаил Семёнович Краснов; Born 1946) Is A Chilean Military Official Involved In Human Rights Violations During The Dictatorship Of General Augusto Pinochet. He Held Several High-Ranking Positions In The Pinochet Regime, Including In The Chilean Intelligence Agency, Dina. As Such, He Was Responsible For The Interrogation, Torture, And Disappearance Of Political Prisoners At The Detention Center, Villa Grimaldi. In 2006, Miguel Krassnoff Was Sentenced To 144 Years Imprisonment For Over 20 Counts Of Crimes Against Humanity. In 2016, He Was Also Sentenced To 10 Years Of Imprisonment For The 1974 Abduction Of José Ramírez Rosales.…

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Arroyo Seco Books, Pasadena, Member IOBA, Pasadena, California, U.S.A., +1 626-372-3863, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
Shipping terms
Postage, handling and insurance are extra, at estimated cost and processing fee. Shipment at standard rates is for small to standard sized books via media mail within U.S., or via Priority Mail envelope overseas, with tracking. Standard shipping costs are based on books of standard size with shipping weight of 4 pounds or less; if a book order is heavier or oversized, extra shipping costs may be charged. Non-standard and higher-valued international shipments are charged estimated postage and shipping costs, including full insurance for all shipments valued over $200. The full purchase price is always indicated on the Customs statement.
