Folio, 13 x 8 inches, with a survey map of the property at the head of the document, 5 x 8 inches. Folded as for filing; docketed on verso. Very good. Perkins owned 450 acres along "John River." This is the first 18th-century North Carolina land survey that we have offered. Perkins's widow, remarried after his death, would hold the land, 237 acres of a larger property surveyed first in 1778, until her decease. Seller Inventory # 56412
