Willets was a Revolutionary War Colonel who led his own regiment of New York troops; this document stated that his troops had not received forage or pay for over a month, in part: "This certifies that the field and staff officers of Col. Willets Regt. of New York State Troops intitled to forage have not received any forage from me or pay for the same." Uneven edges; small closed tears on the top edge; tiny piece of tape in the upper left corner; signature contained within the letter's text. Good condition. Seller Inventory # 178550
