The author also known as Lord Elibank from 1951 has inscribed this book and in addition there is a typed, pasted in extract of a letter from Admiral of the Fleet Viscount Cunningham recalling his personal experience of the waters at Corrievreckan. The dust jacket has a small amount of loss at the base of the spine (1.5cm.) and age discolouration. the book is in very good condition but the end papers are browned.
