Add to basketThe utlimate Scotsman, who portrayed Montgomery "Scotty" Scott in the beloved television series "Star Trek" and the feature films later, was actually a versatile Canadian actor. Color PS, 8" X 10," n.p., n.y. Fine. Head-and-shoulders portrait of a smiling older Doohan in "Star Trek" uniform, signed boldly by him (with "Scottie" added below) in blue ballpoint in a light area at right center. Interestingly, This photo is also signed at upper left by Doohan's son, actor Montgomery Doohan ("Monty Doohan," born 1959) -- his father's middle name, though that also became the character Scotty's first name; he appears in the 1979 "Star Trek" feature film. It is also signed at upper right by Doohan's wife, actress Wende Braunberger (born 1956), who married him in 1974 when she was 18 and he was 54 years old. Unusual!
