Item description from seller

Oblong (32 X 24 cm.). Cellophane tape remnants along top and bottom edge. Some soiling and other wear. Signed 50 years ago by the organization's Executive Secretary whose last name looks like Scott and by Edgar A. Toppin, as President of ASALH. The Association for the Study of Negro Life and History was founded by Carter G. Woodson in 1915. The name of the organization was changed in 2013 to The Association for the Stody of African American Life and History. We assume that Charters were reissued to existing chapters to reflect the name change. We don't know if this chapter still exists.
