20th century German composer Carl Orff (1895-1982) has boldly signed this black-and-white photograph of himself with a sharpie in the blank margin. Orff is most known for Carmina Burana (1936), a "scenic cantata" which reflected his interest in medieval German poetry. Mat window 5 1/2" x 4"; framed to 10 3/4" x 9 1/8". Condition: Fine condition.
