This 5.5 x 8.0 inch, 196 page softcover book is the assumed first edition of this title with the 1928 copyright shown on the copyright page along with ?Boy Scouts of America, Park Avenue Building, TWO Park Avenue, 32nd to 33rd Streets, New York City? - - with the title page showing title and Boy Scouts of America. This copy is in near fine condition with just one minor blemish to the rear panel of the dark green leatherette covers. Beyond that this book is in all but fine condition, with the text pages fine, with only a touch of age-toning and with the text sprinkled with nice graphics from that time period as to construction of camp sanitation systems. This copy is apparently signed by L. L. McDonald - - who wrote the forward - - and who apparently signed his name with a small camp graphic underneath his printed name on the forward page.
