Fine in full red-brown leather covered boards with four raised bands on the spine with gilt text and decorations in the compartments. Both the front and rear boards are decorated with gilt tool work and borders. The end sheets are silk, there is a matching placement ribbon sewn in at the head of the spine and all edges of the text block are gilt . Without a dust jacket as issued. Signed by the author on the third free end page. Laid-in at the front of the book is the publisher's 22 page "notes from the editors". 544 pages of text illustrated with a two-page, color frontispiece. The author's third novel and one which was a major best seller and formed the basis of the movie of the same name. A very handsome and clean copy with no prior owner's names, dates or book plates. Delivery within the US: $10.00 for Priority delivery for 1st book $5.00 for each book thereafter. $4.00 for Book Rate (Media Mail) for the first book and $2.00 for each additional book.
Canadian or Overseas Deliveries will be at cost. Connecticut residents please add 6.35% state sales tax.

Orders usually ship within 1 to 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or over-sized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping cost are required.
