Genealogical records of nine generations of the Kishpaugh family in the United States, beginning with the immigrant Johan Jost Girschbach, who sailed from Rotterdam, Holland in 1751 and arrived in Philadelphia. He and his wife Anna Elizabeth eventually settled in Knowlton Township (Warren County), New Jersey and had fourteen children. Their descendants are scattered throughout the United States, with branches in California, Oregon, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New York.
