5 page typed manuscript with numerous hand corrections. No date. No place. Signed at the end by Richard Elman. Folded twice. Appears to be unpublished. I didn t come up with anything mentioning it on line. These pages came to me laid into a paperback copy of Homage To Fats Navarro . Published in 1978. On the back of the last page of the manuscript is a short hand written note from Alice (Neufeld Goode) who was Richard Elman s wife who he married in 1979 and remanded so until his death in 1997. She is gifting these pages to a friend. Also included here is a photo copy of a book review of one of Richards books ( John Howland Spyker, a pseudonym )with a short hand written note from Alice . The book review is dated 1979 from The New York Times. The book will be included. A first edition paperback. New Rivers Press. A very good worn copy. See photos.
