Inscriptions and names by two previous owners on flyleaf. Inscription and signature by author on half-title page. Interior otherwise unmarked. The book is about English torpedo boats battling German shipping during World War II in the North Sea and the English Channel. Peter Scott, the son of Robert Falcon Scott, who died during a polar expedition in 1912, not only wrote the book, he also made the 12 color paintings used as illustrations. 228 pages.
