Two volume set. "The Back Page", published in 1982, is signed and inscribed by the author. "More Back Page", published in 1990, is signed and inscribed by the author's brother, Bob Mitchell. "The Back Page" has tan cloth boards with blue lettering on cover and spine. Boards are in fine condition. White illustrated dust jacket with blue lettering on cover and spine. Jacket is wrapped in Mylar and is in near fine condition with very mild soiling. "More Back Page" has tan cloth boards with red lettering on cover and spine. Boards are in fine condition. White illustrated dust jacket with red lettering on cover and spine. Jacket is wrapped in Mylar and is in near fine condition with minor shelf wear. Both have tight bindings and clean interiors. Harry Lloyd Jaecks provided illustrations for both volumes. These books offer a collection of essays that appeared in Jack Douglas Mitchell's monthly column in The American Hunter magazine.
