From the Author
My objective in writing the book was to hold readers' attention, readers of all generations who were not there to witness the heroic and tragic happenings in the struggle to attempt to overcome evil.
In well illustrated pages I have presented the true gripping stories in good homespun English language, introducing humor and sadness. An absorbing, compact lesson in history. Readers will not experience tedium as the tales unfold.
Please don't take my word for this, read the book and discover for yourselves.
