Uncommon A.L.S. 4to. 1 page, monogrammed letterhead, Jackson Heights, New York. Agreeing to contribute artwork to an event, in full: "Certainly I'll do something for the Players Club program. Signal me a buzz on the phone and let me know when I can meet you or tell me what to do. I rang you twice today but missed you." Excellent condition. Scottish-born American book illustrator whose works include Robinson Crusoe (1930), A Man Without a Country (1936), and Treasure Island (1941). During World War I he designed many propaganda and recruitment posters. Seller Inventory # 283639
