("Yves") 2 pages (recto and verso) Monday 12, ny, but ca. 1961, on his engraved 15 Place Dauphine, Paris correspondence Card to director George Cukor. 4" x 5 1/2". Fine. A gracious and loving letter to the director in which Montand comments on the film "Let's Make Love," his improving English; his wife's (Simone Signoret's) filming, etc. In part: " - Excuse my English, my dear George. But all I can say is I look forward to seeing you soon. Je vous embrace - Merci encore une fois for everything." Montand (1921-1991) was a French actor and singer. Seller Inventory # 611320
