Accompanying the letter is a Xeroxed article on Moore, from a Christian publication called *The Open Door*, followed by a list of his NFL accomplishments as well as a breakdown of his community activities. Moore, an African-American man from Reading, Pennsylvania, set multiple rushing records at Penn State University before being drafted ninth overall by the Baltimore Colts in the 1956 NFL draft. He was named the NFL Rookie of the Year in 1956 and was selected to the Pro Bowl seven times. Moore was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1975. Lenny signs off on the letter "May God bless your work, and pray for us. In His Name, Lenny Moore.".…
