About this Item
("Anton Dolin") 1 page, Paris, Mogador Theatre, January 8, 1938 to director George Cukor. 10 3/4" x 8 1/4". Together with postmarked and stamped envelope. Very good. Dolin seeking work in Hollywood writes to Cukor mentioning his 1934 British film "Forbidden Territory" with Binnie Barnes and a dancing sequence in another film with Lilian Harvey. His London secretary is attempting to get film clips for Cukor. Dolin did not appear in an American film until 1952. Dolin (1904 ¿ 1983) was an English ballet dancer and choreographer. He joined Sergei Diaghilev's Ballet Russes in 1921. Seller Inventory # 2221436
