("Enid") 2 pages (recto andf verso) December 27, 1967 to director George Cukor on her Rottingdean, Sussex engraved letterhead. 10" x 8". A long rambling letter. Very good. In part: "In this blind happiness of very early morning - I don't remember the things I do. For instance I have invited a man to stay here for Christmas - And why no dogs? - I have a play going into rehearsal on Jan 18 - " Bagnold (1889-1981) was a British author and playwright, best known for the 1935 story "National Velvet" which was filmed in 1935 and her play "The Chalk Garden" filmed in 1964.
