He gushes on at the pleasure of having met her, thanks her for her hospitality, etc. Very good (folding creases). 2) Autograph Letter Signed. 1 1/2 pages, July 22, 1918 on letterhead of Hotel Clark, 4th and S. Hill Streets, Los Angeles, F. M. Dimmick, Manager. He sends his photograph (not present) and hopes she will remember him. Very good (folding creases). Masefield (1878 ¿ 1967) was an English poet Laureate (1930-1967) and writer. Noted for his poems of the seas. In 1918 Masefield was on his second lecture tour in America.
