("Elizabeth Salter"), secretary to Dame Edith Sitwell: February 23, 1963; November 11, 1963; November 15, 1963; September 2, 1966. Together with two carbons copies of Cukor's replies. Sitwell is on a world cruise to recover her health. She inquired if Cukor has been able to interest / Hollywood on filming her book "The Queens and the Hive." Salter published a biography of Edith Sitwell in 1979. The 1966 letter seeks Cukor's approval to include information about him in her book on Sitwell. Cukor and Sitwell had a long flirtation on bringing her works to the screen, and she dedicated her book "The Queens and the Hive" to him.
