1 - Book has a cracked front hinge, still holding, jacket is price clipped and a little chipped. Inscribed by the author to Howie Holland? In 1958. There is also a correction to the text in the author's hand. 2) - A nice copy with a touch of browning to the outer jacket edges. This copy inscribed by the author to Edith Oliver the theatre critic for the New Yorker magazine for more than 31 years. 3) Some minor jacket rubbing and soiling to the rear panel but generally very good in like jacket, this is the revised and expanded edition from 1969. It is inscribed by the author to Bertram & Ella Wolfe the author and historian. 4) A nice copy inscribed by Lewis Dabney to Elizabeth Hardwick who is mentioned in the acknowledgements of the book.
