One-page handwritten letter (two sides) from French author, Andre Maurois, to Ambassador Straus. Condition is Very Good with very light age; slight smudge on first side (not affecting legibility) toning and a single horizontal crease where folded. CL Consignment. Shelved in Levy-Straus Autograph binder (Case 0). Jesse Isidor Straus (June 25, 1872 October 4, 1936) served as the American ambassador to France from 1933 to 1936.
