About this Item
Nice bright copy in burgundy cloth. Corners are sharp. Slightly bumped at the spine tips. Slight foxing on the fore-edges. Signed by the author below his picture before the Chronology page. Ink smudge and partial fingerprint at the top right corner of that page, apparently from the fountain pen that he used. No markings. A very nice copy as well as an interesting one that seems to settle the debate on who wrote the book based on the signature below the phrase "the unknown author". The story of John Stephens, an English immigrant to America who married into the Cherokee nation in North Georgia. Seller Inventory # 037662
