2pp. on a 7 x 4 1/2" (folded) sheet with 121 East 18th St. New York printed a t the top of p.1. June 10, 1892. To Cleveland, Ohio based book & autograph collector Frank J. Pool (d. 1949). "Dear Sir: I have to thank you for the book of the Rowfant Club [Cleveland, Ohio; founded in 1892] and I am glad to see the love of beautiful books growing. I hope that the Rowfant Club will devote itself to American books. The present secretary of the Dunlap [?] Society is Mr Ben [?] Carey. The Kewbery [?] Co. 33 E 17th St N.Y. Yours Truly Brander Matthews Frank J. Pool Esq." Some small dust stains, paste marks on back blank page, else near fine. Pool was an early member of the Rowfant Club. Seller Inventory # ABE-29665857
