DE PUY, Clifford. ACROSS THE YEARS. Des Moines, Iowa: Clifford De Puy, 1967. Quarto: red & white cloth, stamped in gilt; 419 pages. Limited Edition of only 100 copies printed for private distribution. A history of the de Puy family and its association with the banking publishing business, including the Mid-Continent Banker based in St. Louis. Signed presentation from de Puy on a front blank page, to a close friend and business associate: "To Donald H. Clark-- the travelling publisher whose most important trip was from Des Moines to St. Louis in 1930. Clifford de Puy. August, 1967." The de Puy family had a close tie with the banking and insurance magazine publishing business, especially the Mid-Continental Banker which was eventually purchased by Clark, who was also a publisher. An interesting combination of business and family genealogy. Rare & with a nice presentation! Very Good (bit of rubbing spine; contents clean & tight). $125.00.
